In Loving Memory of Mr. William Coles.

Wednesday, June 10th, was a very sad day for our A.C.E. Compressor Parts and Service family as we mourned the passing of our beloved Service Manager of 10 years, Mr. William Coles.

Known to many simply as “Mr. William,” he was an inspiration to our younger technicians and a mentor to even the most seasoned Service Technicians. He challenged everyone around him to be their very best, emphasizing the importance of quality workmanship and attention to detail. Excellence was his standard, and anything less was simply not acceptable. He often reminded us that the only foolish question was the one never asked. Whether offering guidance, sharing his knowledge, or greeting someone with folded arms, a tilted head, and a smile, Mr. William was always ready to help.

Mr. William was not only my mentor but also a dear friend. Our friendship began in 1995 while working together at Ingersoll Rand, and over the years I came to deeply appreciate his wisdom, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his craft. I will miss his advice, his jokes, and seeing him each day in the shop surrounded by the people and work he genuinely loved.

It has been a tremendous honor to know him, learn from him, respect him, and call him a friend.

The centrifugal air compressor industry has lost a true legend. His impact on this company, this industry, and the many lives he has touched will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
